About the Journal

Until 1 January 2017 the journal’s name was Vestnik of Northern (Arctic) Federal University. Series “Medical and Biological Sciences”
The journal’s mission is to highlight the problems of adaptation of living systems to environmental factors, including those in the circumpolar areas, and to exchange information in this field.
The journal’s aim is to publish practical and theoretical results of research within medical and biological sciences and provide researchers with an opportunity to publish their findings on the adaptation of living systems to ecological and medico-social factors, including those within the Arctic subject area.
We accept papers on physiology, immunology, cell biology, cytology, histology, hygiene, occupational medicine, public health and healthcare, pathophysiology, rehabilitation medicine, balneology and physical therapy. 
We publish articles in Russian and English.
