Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is typed with one and a half line spacing; the font is 14 point size; italics are used for highlighting, not underlining (except for URLs); all figures, diagrams and tables are located in the appropriate places in the text, and not at the end of the document.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

ARTICLE SUBMISSION

  1. Articles are submitted for publication via the electronic submission system. Electronic submission speeds up the registration and review of the manuscript and allows authors to keep track of its progress.
  2. Corresponding author must register on the journal’s website and enter his/her personal data into his/her profile. Thus, he/she has the capability to submit the article through a special form.
  3. Corresponding author uploads the article and figures, as well as accompanying documents, to the journal’s website in individual files. Metadata is required to be additionally entered into the proposed form.
  4. To submit an article, authors must confirm the following points:
  • the article has not been previously published, and also has not been submitted for review and publication to another journal (or an explanation of this is given in the comments for the editor);
  • the article file is presented in the .doc or .docx format, while figures and tables are placed in the text after the links to them, i.e. all information is collected in one file;
  • each figure is additionally presented in an individual file in .jpg, .cdr, .tiff, .eps, .xls formats;
  • the text is typed on a computer with the following parameters: Times New Roman font, 14 pt size, 1.2 line spacing, 10 mm paragraph indentation, without hyphenation. Field sizes: top and bottom – 20 mm each, left – 25 mm, right – 25 mm. The recommended volume of an original scientific article, including tables, figures and lists of references, is from 10 to 15 pages; brief summary – from 5 to 6 pages. All pages must be numbered.
  • the text meets the stylistic and bibliographic requirements described in the Rules for Authors.

In case of their violation, the article may be returned to the author.
