The reviewed memorial publication contains modern approaches and relevant data on the genocide of civilians and prisoners of war in the Karelian-Finnish SSR during the Great Patriotic War. The book is of particular importance for modern historical discourse and the preservation of historical memory. It is the result of close cooperation between prosecutors and historians, which contributes to the development of a respectful attitude towards the historical past and prevents the falsification of the history of the Great Patriotic War.
