Abstract

Review of the book: Bakina A.D. Biblical Phraseological Units: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. Orel, 2023. 452 p. (in Russ.).

The reviewed monograph examines structural, semantic, functional and linguocultural aspects of biblical phraseological units. Its author employs a multi-paradigm approach encompassing structural-semantic, intertextual, functional-pragmatic, and linguodidactic methods. Special emphasis is placed on phraseological variability, the role of these units in diverse types of discourse and their practical application in foreign language teaching. The monograph makes a substantial contribution to phraseological studies by balancing theoretical depth and practical orientation.
